JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll and Finance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, resolving payroll issues, calculating wages, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting finance tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in payroll software systems, and a commitment to confidentiality. The Payroll Coordinator will collaborate with and support various departments, including Human Resources and Finance.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in payroll/ finance or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with payroll software (ADP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data effectively for reporting purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi- weekly payroll for 100+ employees accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now
  • Verify timecards, attendance, and payroll data for accuracy.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime per company policies and laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records, performing data entry, and submitting required reports to management.
  • Address payroll inquiries and assist employees with pay stubs, deductions, and benefits.
  • Manage payroll software, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify trends, errors, or areas for improvement in payroll processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll information and stay updated on relevant laws.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as record- keeping tasks as needed to support overall financial operations.
