JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience of working in Payroll.
  • Experience of using accounting systems (Sage preferred, but not essential).
  • Organised and structured to ensure things get done.
  • Able to work well with other team members and at times independently.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Flexible and able to prioritise tasks to achieve overall Company goals.
  • Comfortable with working to deadlines with a positive “can do”, positive attitude.
  • Willing to suggest new ideas and always looking for ways to improve the way we do things.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel user.

Responsibilities:

Watergate Bay Hotel is seeking a talented Payroll Assistant to join our team. As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our payroll department and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll input, process, and ensure safe storage of all payroll data for both fortnightly (hourly) and monthly (salary) payroll files, you’ll handle it all with finesse and accuracy. You’ll even get the chance to imput and share your valuable insights to drive our business forward.
