Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the Payroll Coordinator, the Payroll Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of payroll. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic accounting team environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Working with the Payroll Coordinator to ensure payroll is executed timely and accurately.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Preparing Government remittances and ROE’s.
- Assisting with year-end preparation and reporting.
- Performing intercompany billings.
- Processing the employee RRSP program.
- Other accounting and admin duties as required.
