Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the Payroll Coordinator, the Payroll Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of payroll. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic accounting team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Working with the Payroll Coordinator to ensure payroll is executed timely and accurately.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Preparing Government remittances and ROE’s.
  • Assisting with year-end preparation and reporting.
  • Performing intercompany billings.
  • Processing the employee RRSP program.
  • Other accounting and admin duties as required.
