Responsibilities:

  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information.
  • Review weekly and semi-monthly payroll to prepare for the approval process
  • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits information, and update employee payroll records.
  • Track and monitor employee benefits related leaves of absence
  • Present payroll/benefits information at new hire orientation
  • Collaborate and assist the HR team with requests, inquiries, and concerns
  • Maintain healthy relationships with vendors
  • Attend meetings as required/necessary to ensure successful completion of all tasks
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws
  • Special Projects: New HRIS implementation, open enrollment
  • All other duties as assigned
