Payroll Clerk

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Payroll Clerk in Normal, Alabama. This role is primarily in the industry of processing customer applications and maintaining accurate customer records. The selected candidate will be a key point of contact for campus queries and will be tasked with heavy data entry duties.

• Reconcile spreadsheets and input data into the Banner system
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for data processing tasks
• Handle high-volume data entry tasks efficiently
• Resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer service standards
• Act as a point of contact for campus questions and provide appropriate solutions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Banner software proficiently for data processing
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all payroll related tasks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Banner software is a plus
• Previous experience in Payroll processing is essential
• Ability to perform high-volume data entry with efficiency and accuracy
• Skills in both numeric and non-numeric data entry
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
