For our Modular business and factory in Vejle, Denmark, we are currently looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to join our HR team.
You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate and timely payroll administration for approximately 170 Danish employees, both hourly paid and salaried.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Monthly payroll processing for 170 employees
  • Managing the Time and Attendance system (Promark) and preparing the monthly input file for our external payroll provider
  • Handling maternity leaves, sick leaves and applying for applicable government refunds
  • In cooperation with production leadership, understanding and implementing changes coming from the Collective Agreement (Dansk Industri’s Overenskomst).
  • Serving as main contact person for all payroll related questions:
  • internally in cooperation with managers and employees- externally, cooperating with our benefits- and payroll provider.

In addition to the Danish payroll, your areas of responsibility will also include:

  • Employee administration, including the creation and maintenance of employee data
  • Becoming superuser in our HR management system
  • Auditing Payroll and HR data continuously to ensure a high level of data accuracy
  • Participating in various HR assignments, locally and across our international HR community
  • Monthly reporting of HR KPIs
  • Ad hoc tasks.Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders:
  • HR team, local and international
  • Local manager- and employee relations
  • Union representatives
  • External benefits- and payroll partners.

We are looking for you to have:

  • 3-5 years of experienced with payroll operations from a unionized manufacturing environment
  • Experience in working with Danish Industry Collective Agreements
  • Used to reading and interpretating Local Agreements that impact payroll operations
  • Experienced with Promark (Time & Attendance system), is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to details
  • In addition to payroll related tasks, we expect that you on an ongoing basis are motivated to take on different HR related assignments.
