Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent English is a must
- 6 years of experience in accounting and payroll departments with demonstrated abilities in managing task control under pressure.
- Excellent numerical sense and data-analytical capabilities with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Workday integration experience (preferred)
- In charge of the good management and operation of the Payroll department.
- Experience with accounting incentive programs, short- and long-term incentive plans is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills – ability to multi-task, plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to prepare tax return reports and present findings.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
- Experience supervising payroll team and working for more than 4 companies or countries.
- Collect, review, and analyze payroll information and ensure the third-party vendor (ADP/ Workday/ Nomilina) prepares federal, state, and local withholding and unemployment tax returns according to published guidelines
- Ensure payroll tax deposits and tax returns are completed and compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Research and file the special assessments for specific states with interest payments quarterly/annually
- Stays abreast of federal and multi-state tax regulatory requirements and company policies
- Maintains all W-4 changes for both Federal and State tax changes
- Preforms and maintains Check Reconciliation by stopping and canceling checks, processing direct deposit returns and correcting direct deposit information while following Bank, SOX and federal/state guidelines when applicable
- Researches and collects data for tax authorities requested during tax controversies including inquiries, audits and appeals
- Determine and produce reports needed to prevent and detect issues that could affect taxation and payroll
- Reconciles payroll tax reporting after each pay run to ensure accurate filings by tax service provider
- Monitors quarterly tax filings
