Description:
A reputable organization in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Payroll Manager for their team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete payroll processing for employees across the US, Canada, and Ireland
- Ensure adherence to applicable payroll laws and tax regulations
- Supervise payroll controls and ensure accurate reconciliation of payroll data
- Manage payroll workflows to meet operational deadlines and business needs
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll processes
- Handle key quarterly and year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 reconciliation
- Lead and mentor payroll team members, providing necessary training and guidance
- Supervise payroll system updates and manage any related changes
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead the implementation of new initiatives
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal departments to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Provide assistance with special projects as needed
- Candidate must possess expertise in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required
US, Canada and Ireland Payroll
- Experience with Ceridian software is necessary
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports will be advantageous
- Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration is essential
- Experience in using ‘About Time’ software will be beneficial
- Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is required
- Candidate should have experience in Auditing
- Understanding of Benefit Functions is necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment is essential
- Strong leadership skills to manage and oversee the payroll team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with other departments
- High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure correct payroll processing
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to highest ethical standards.
