Responsibilities:
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Payroll Officer to join our team in Sydney (Regents Park)!
This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, supporting the efficient and accurate processing of payroll.
Responsibilities include
- Supporting Supervisors and Managers in the timely completion of timesheets.
- Processing payroll files and maintaining accurate payroll and time sheeting records.
- Assistance with generating internal and statutory payroll reports.
- Ensuring the correct application of Enterprise Agreement (SEA) conditions.
- Handling tasks such as termination payments, back pays, and payroll tax reconciliations.
- Processing deductions and income protection payments.
- Supporting long service leave administration, including registrations and payments.
- Assisting in year-end reconciliations for payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and LSL.
- Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
- Providing support during audits as required.
