PAYROLL OFFICER

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of payroll functions. From processing employee payments to maintaining accurate records, your expertise will ensure smooth operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Bi-weekly/Monthly Payroll: Accurately calculate wages based on hours worked.
  • Maintain Employee Records: Update personal information changes such as exemptions or deductions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local laws in payroll processes.
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Address any issues or discrepancies related to paychecks promptly.Coordinate with HR & Finance Departments: Collaborate seamlessly across teams for data consistency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience on relevant software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian Dayforce) is a plus
  • Excellent organization skills and attention-to-detailAbility to handle sensitive information confidentially
