Description:

We have an opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join the Munro Footwear Group (MFG) Payroll Team. As a Payroll Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring wages are processed promptly and in line with all policies, awards, and legislation. You’ll also take ownership of maintaining Employee Master Data, processing changes, and onboarding new starters.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Senior Payroll Officers in the end-to-end payroll processing and off-cycle payments for their assigned pay run group/s
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met and pays are processed accurately
  • Completing analytical checks and balances within the Time and Attendance and Payroll systems
  • Completing out-of-system processes, such as Government and Company paid Parental Leave and Higher Duties
  • Reviewing pay queries within the payroll inbox
  • Processing Group employment changes, including new hires, terminations, position changes, salary changes and intercompany transfers
  • Update and maintain pay records, associated timekeeping data and statistics, leave records and related information
  • Maintain team member allowances and deductions
