PAYROLL OFFICER - QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a fiduciary or law firm environment.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is highly valued.
  • Rigor and strong motivation are key attributes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire payroll process for 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll matters and legal requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Handle a small portion of administrative tasks related to contracts, compensation, benefits, and reviews.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll procedures and optimize efficiency.
  • Improve payroll management processes and maximize tax benefits to maintain market competitiveness.
