QUALIFICATIONS

  • A payroll qualification such as PDL, or a degree in VPS is advantageous. TMF Group is willing to offer VPS training.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll administrator role within a payroll delivery position.
  • Exposure to expat/international payrolls is desirable.
  • Experience in processing payrolls end-to-end.
  • Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Unit4 payroll software is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. The role requires a solid understanding of payroll legislation and the ability to process payrolls from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Collect payroll input data from clients, review the data for accuracy and completeness, and return it to the client if incorrect or incomplete.
  • Input client data into payroll software, run payroll reports, and cross-check data using both manual and automated payroll calculations.
  • Escalate any client or work issues to the Senior Payroll Officer or Supervisor HRP.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls alongside the Senior Payroll Officer or Supervisor HRP.
  • Adhere to delivery assurance policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Undertake tax year-end delivery as needed, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.
  • Respond to payroll and client queries in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
