POSITION SUMMARY:
A Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing an organization’s payroll process efficiently and accurately. This role involves calculating employee salaries, deductions, and ensuring timely disbursement of wages. The Payroll Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, while also providing support for various payroll-related tasks.?
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.?
- Previous experience in payroll accounting or a related role is highly desirable.?
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel is essential.?
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Constantly sit, talk, or hear; Frequently use hands.
- Manual dexterity for handling paperwork and using office equipment.
- Clear vision and hearing for reviewing documents and communicating effectively.
- Capability to lift up to 10 pounds.
