QUALIFICATIONS

  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) Certification
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations (T4’s, ROE’s EHT, PIER etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office Suite of products and familiar with payroll software

Responsibilities:

  • Support the entire payroll process for a multijurisdictional payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations regarding payroll taxes, deductions, and reporting.
  • Liaise with other departments, employees, and managers to resolve payroll issues.
  • Assist in the development and implement company payroll policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of all regulations, employment laws and other requirements for the execution of payroll
