Payroll Specialist
The Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation provides process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.
In the role of the Payroll Specialist, you will be expected to process EMEA/UK Payroll whilst accuracy, timeliness and compliance through the research, development and administration of efficient payroll policies and operating procedures. You are happy to be “hands-on” in all aspects of your team’s work. Moist of all, you will be service oriented with excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manging accurate daily payroll operations.
- Cooperating with other team members to meet the payroll deadlines.
- Maintaining knowledge related to current statutory legislation.
- Building up relationships with internal clients and external payroll provider.
- Process EMEA monthly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner (in accordance with local legislation and deadlines).
- Performing reconciliation and audit tasks for monthly payroll.
- Errorless transmission of banking payments and bank accounts reconciliations.
- Providing high level of customer service via WorkDay Help Desk, emails and in person on variety of queries to Dyson employees.
- Continuously look to improve the efficiency of day-to-day payroll operations through work process improvement.
- Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- University diploma (preferred Accounting/Finance/Economy).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing outsourced payrolls.
- Knowledge of country legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Self-motivation and inquisitive.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Transition experience including writing and updating procedures and process maps.
- Commitment to service excellence, process improvements and automation.
- Fluent in English.
- Additional language will be as asset (preferable French, Spanish, German).
