We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage a wide range of payroll responsibilities, including processing payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, and supporting benefits administration. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll process.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and weekly, basis ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Accurately calculating and processing payrolls, including taxes, employee benefits, garnishments, sick leave, and other payroll deductions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the entire payroll processing system.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local payroll laws and company policies.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering payroll-related questions and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll-related reports and support audits as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries, addressing concerns and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
