Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Manage full cycle payroll for bi-weekly and monthly payroll groups. This includes auditing and importing payroll files, pay detail and pre-check audits. Also, responsible Statutory remittances, ROE, and term packages post payroll.
  • Provide guidance to Payroll team, auditing of daily payroll work by analyzing, reconciling, and resolving discrepancies to ensure payroll transactions are accurate and complete.
  • Responsible for month end remittances; ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payment. And will play an integral part in all year end activities including internal and external audits.
  • Support the delivery of established Payroll programs by providing advice & technical support to Equity and People Team, ITS, and Finance teams; responding/escalating complex inquiries where possible enabling an efficient and seamless service experience.
  • Regular testing of payroll and time and attendance software releases and working with vendors to raise and fix system issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct payroll related activities to enable the achievement of program. Work with manager and Payroll team to maintain team objectives, updating of policies and streamlining of procedures on a regular basis.
