Overview:
As an EMEA Payroll Specialist at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity:

In this role you will:

  • Take ownership of collating and accurately recording all payroll change data for various global payrolls
  • Prepare payroll changes submissions monthly for various global entities, in this role primarily EMEA
  • Engage with various external entities such as local and international payroll processors, Revenue, and international tax authorities
  • Support the wider payroll team by administering Bike to Work/Tax Saver Schemes, distributing payslips, managing the application of special tax arrangements
  • Manage the internal Payroll Mailbox and respond to all payroll-related queries including assisting with new hire onboarding and offboarding queries
  • Be the lead point of contact for the company pension scheme and other third-party Benefit Providers relating to the set of countries assigned to you
  • Track all statutory leave and apply associated payroll adjustments in line with local laws
  • Partner with senior members of the payroll team and assist with payroll setup in new jurisdictions, review of general ledger codings, employee cost centre allocations
  • Ensure timely payment of statutory payroll taxes and other related costs across each region
  • Prepare detailed payroll gross to net reviews and reconciliations and provide first level review and approval on payroll reports for each of your assigned countries
  • Assist the Financial reporting team with payroll related queries in a timely manner
  • Provide compelling reporting on key payroll metrics to the wider team
  • Assist in driving the global Payroll Change project, identifying opportunities for ongoing improvements, automation and streamlining processes gaining efficiency
  • Provide support to the payroll manager on current and future projects as they arise

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a payroll qualification such as IPASS or CIPP or are on the path to completing one
  • Have previous experience working in a payroll environment over the last 2 years and have an understanding of core payroll concepts
  • Have knowledge of payroll regulations within either Europe, USA, Asia Pacific or the Middle East
  • Are experienced in using Excel V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
  • Are detail oriented and quality focused with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
