QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with employee payroll software and time and attendance records.
  • Excellent data entry and math skills.
  • Ability to keep track of numerous ongoing tasks.
  • Adherence to all prescribed ethical confidentiality guidelines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Payroll Specialist assists to process and review of the bi-weekly payrolls for employees and plays an active role in preparing employment contracts for new associates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Prepare employment contracts for new associates.
  • Enter new associates on ADP and update system with new information.
  • Processing Termination and generating ROEs for the weekend / part time employees.
  • Process ROE for employee on LOA.
  • Collate daily, weekly, and monthly timecards of all employees.
  • Confirm all aspects of payroll approval is addressed for hourly employees in time for processing.
  • Help with vacation & other pay codes allocation on ADP.
  • Processing of retro, premium, overtime forms and calculation of straight time pay for weekend employees.
  • Verify benefit eligibility.
  • Prepare employment letters and other documents as needed.
  • Prepare analysis and reports payroll related.
  • Scan, upload, and file documents
  • Verify all agency invoices and send its approval to the finance department.
  • Conduct payroll audit for all hourly employees.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
