Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Stafford, Texas. The role will primarily involve processing payroll for a large number of employees in a high-volume setting. The successful candidate will be based 100% on-site and will be proficient in using ADP Workforce Now.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payroll process for a significant number of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Leverage proficiency in ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll operations.
- Continually monitor and update employee payroll records as required.
- Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing comprehensive and timely responses.
- Implement appropriate actions for monitoring customer accounts.
- Comply with all legal and company regulations related to payroll processing.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll process.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in the payroll process.
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
- Contribute to team efforts in improving payroll procedures and systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now
- Demonstrated ability to process payroll efficiently and accurately
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field is preferred.
