Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Stafford, Texas. The role will primarily involve processing payroll for a large number of employees in a high-volume setting. The successful candidate will be based 100% on-site and will be proficient in using ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the payroll process for a significant number of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
  • Leverage proficiency in ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll operations.
  • Continually monitor and update employee payroll records as required.
  • Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing comprehensive and timely responses.
  • Implement appropriate actions for monitoring customer accounts.
  • Comply with all legal and company regulations related to payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll process.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in the payroll process.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
  • Contribute to team efforts in improving payroll procedures and systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now
  • Demonstrated ability to process payroll efficiently and accurately
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field is preferred.
