Description:

Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our client’s team in the Central West End on a contract basis. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of payroll functions and will offer compensation based on experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, preparing journal entries, managing benefits-related tasks, and providing essential information for audits. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in MS Excel and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Previous experience in payroll processing and benefits management is required.
Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel is essential. Knowledge of journal entry preparation and audit processes is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing and record-keeping tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS:

Location: Onsite, Central West End.
Compensation: DOE (Depending on Experience).
Duration: Contract role.
