Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school degree, GED (General Educational Development) certification, or equivalency is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Paycom experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, compensation, and benefits, labor relations, and negotiation.
  • Be able to be discrete with sensitive information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and related functions. Basic programming skills.
  • Approach others in a tactful and respectful manner, and display sound and accurate judgment.
  • Keep commitments, work with integrity, and uphold organizational values.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

Facilitate the entire payroll process for more than 800 employees and complete the following tasks:

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and pay the biweekly payroll for more than employees.
  • Gather payroll data for inclusion in financial statements and reports; assist the Controller & Assistant Controller with audits.
  • Coordinate and maintain the time, attendance, vacation, sick leave, and time-off system, and respond to manager and employee issues and corrections.
  • Handle 401(k) filings and administration.
  • Process unemployment paperwork and insurance for terminated employees.
  • Assist employees with their health and benefits enrollment.
  • File multiple worksite reports, 1099s, EEOC, etc.
  • Assist the HR Manager with Workers Compensation payroll verifications.
  • Assist the HR Manager with FMLA, LTD & STD processes, and paperwork.
  • Assist the HR Manager with maintaining the company-wide Wellness Program.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting employee and customer functions and events.
