Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director based in Fullerton, California. This role will involve managing and ensuring accurate payroll processing for our team in the plastics industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of payroll for 450 employees across various states
  • Ensure adherence to all payroll regulations and policies
  • Process and manage payroll through ADP Workforce Now
  • Maintain and update payroll records and reports as required
  • Coordinate with the accounting manager for payroll-related tasks
  • Address and resolve payroll queries and issues from employees in a timely manner
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all payroll information
  • Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective payroll management
  • Implement Benefit Functions as part of the payroll process
  • Continually monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed.
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director.
  • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Benefit Functions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work with complex payroll systems and handle confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven knowledge of payroll-related tax laws and regulations.
  • Certified Payroll detail oriented (CPP) designation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll and international payroll is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to manage and lead the payroll team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
