Description:

Management Resources is seeking an Interim Payroll Supervisor for a part time (30 hours a week) contract in Dallas. The role involves overseeing the payroll processes and driving automation initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities for the Interim Payroll Supervisor - 30 hours a week

  • Oversee and manage the payroll processes for approximately 400 employees, including those based in Miami.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Implement and manage payroll automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
  • Utilize ADP for payroll processing and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll runs and ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures within the healthcare industry.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage payroll data and generate reports.
  • Contribute to business process improvement initiatives within the payroll department.
  • Manage and maintain the QuickBooks General Ledger.
  • Proficiency in ADP - Payroll, ADP Enterprise, and Automated Payroll systems
  • Extensive experience in payroll processing for 101 - 500 employees
  • Ability to process bi-weekly and bi-monthly payroll
  • Strong understanding and experience with payroll automation
  • Demonstrated ability in business process improvement
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in the HealthCare Industry
  • Ability to supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Professional certification in payroll (preferred)
