Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Tax Analyst in Frisco, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial operations by performing payroll tax balancing activities, ensuring compliance with various tax regulations, and maintaining accurate reporting of tax liabilities and wages each pay period.

Responsibilities

  • Balancing payroll tax activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations
  • Filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns in a timely manner
  • Assisting in quarter and year-end processes to guarantee accurate financial reporting
  • Responding to and resolving agency inquiries regarding payroll tax issues
  • Handling new tax jurisdictions requests and implementing them as required
  • Participating in special projects related to payroll tax as necessary
  • Utilizing skills in Payroll Tax Returns, Payroll Taxes, ADP - Payroll, and Multistate Payroll to perform duties effectively
  • Monitoring and reporting tax liabilities and wages each pay period accurately
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll tax activities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Proficiency in Payroll Tax Returns and Payroll Taxes.
  • Knowledge and experience of ADP - Payroll.
  • Experience in handling Multistate Payroll.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
