Finance & HR Services (FHS) at DHL – that’s us! We deliver shared services in Finance and HR for our divisions within the group.
Our HR Services run e.g. the payroll for more than 350.000 employees within DHL working in 28 countries across the globe. They also offer time & attendance management, employee data administration and reporting, travel & expense processing, and other services.
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate and execute Payroll with the objective of accurate and timely employee payments in line with Payroll process guidelines, best practices, and local legislation requirements.
YOUR TASKS:
- Adapt Payroll processes and timelines considering internal/external best practices, local legislation and alignment requirements of multiple business units
- Monitor implementation of Payroll process to achieve accuracy, efficiency and adherence to timelines by using quality standards, ROI metrics and benchmarks
- Proactively gather inputs, review reports and feedback to identify patterns of errors and scope for improvement of Payroll processes
- Oversee and guide activities of a team of professionals and business support roles for Payroll execution
- Review and conduct activities such as accounting, distributing, and preparing payments, benefits, taxes, and Payroll deductions
- Review and calculate overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, and bonuses
- Maintain and review various Payroll records and reports prepared by the team
- Resolve escalated and complex issues and/or issues which are an impact of larger organizational change
