We are recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Assistant Practitioner to take up a full-time role within our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team. Although located at Shire Hall in Gloucester, the role will entail work outside of normal working hours and at locations across the county, including in our Locality, Hospital and Learning Disabilities teams. Responsibilities:

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a person-centred approach for providing long-term support to people with learning disabilities and autism, including those with mental health conditions, who display, or may be at risk of developing, behaviours of concern. The PBS Assistant Practitioner works in partnership with PBS Practitioners and PBS Specialists to support with the development of Behaviour Support Plans (BSP’s) and Functional Assessments; this will include working with individuals, their families, carers and other professionals and organisations. The PBS Assistant Practitioner will also work across the county to develop knowledge around PBS frameworks.
