We have an exciting PC Repairs Technian opportunity at our site in Trafford Park. The role would include working as part of a small team to solve issues and fix problems of a wide range of Gaming PC’s. A passion for Tech is essential!

JOB SUMMARY:

As a PC Repairs Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain personal computers, laptops, and related hardware. You will work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing clear communication and excellent customer service throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus,not required.
• Experience in PC repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), hardware components, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours if required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy computer equipment.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on repairs.
• Manual dexterity required for handling small computer components.

  Expected hours: 37.5 per week

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on personal computers, laptops, and other related devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, and hardware upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Assemble and disassemble computer systems, including installing and replacing components such as hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and power supplies.
• Test and verify that all systems and components are functioning properly after repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, including parts used, labor time, and customer interactions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, hardware releases, and software updates.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety standards and data privacy regulations.
