What’s your new role about?
As our new PCR Operator, you will be the heart and soul in DAZN’s production control room, making sure everything runs smoothly. From managing the daily operations to supporting the production gallery, you’ll be key in keeping DAZN up to a world-class standard.
You will need to be able to work in a challenging environment ensuring our live operations are uninterrupted and run smoothly in line with the terms of our SLA’s. You will have a close relationship with the service provider technical staff assisting them to keep broadcast kit always available for Production and Operations. You will deal with clients in a service environment and will be able to communicate technical and non-technical information well. Building and maintaining external and internal customer satisfaction
You will have the opportunity to shape a new generation of sports fans via a video OTT platform that delivers streaming of sport (live and on demand) to customers around the world.

As our new PCR Operator m/f/d, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Guide the whole live facilities of DAZN Germany providing broadcast quality assurance on all content whether live or file based
  • Monitor the global acquisition and distribution of signals in IP
  • Ensure commentary levels and mixes are at the highest standard
  • Coordinate the commentators and completing tests and line-ups
  • Support operational staff to achieve a high standard of production assisting production gallery when live events happen.
  • Coordinate any last-minute production changes
  • Assess the quality of live audio commentary as well as transmissions for video and audio faults
  • Collaborate with Incident Management, Engineering and Operations in supporting the resolution of technical and operational issues.

You’ll have:

  • Educational background in audio or video technology
  • Fluency in Germany and English, both verbal and written
  • Confidence to work in a live pressured environment
  • Real interest in broadcast and/ or audio
