Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Registrar in Pediatrics to join our healthcare team. As a Senior Registrar, you will provide physically and through telemedicine comprehensive medical care to pediatrics including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. You will play a pivotal role in promoting child health and development, diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in Pediatrics will contribute to ensuring the well-being of pediatric patients, providing family-centered care, and supporting the organization’s commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Additionally, you will practice population health management and value-based care, focusing on improving patient outcomes through efficient and effective healthcare delivery, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care and promoting the well-being of children and their families
Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests specific to pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for pediatric patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine, family-centered care, and age-specific considerations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, developmental disorders, and behavioral health concerns.
- Promote preventive healthcare measures, including well-child visits, vaccinations, growth and development monitoring, and health education for parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with specialists, pediatric nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for pediatric patients.
- Practice population health management by identifying and addressing pediatric health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health awareness.
- Utilize telemedicine platforms to provide remote consultations, monitor patients’ progress, and offer virtual follow-up care when appropriate.
- Embrace value-based care principles, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, disease prevention, growth and development milestones, and strategies for managing common childhood conditions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine, including new treatment modalities, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes in the field of pediatrics.
SKILLS
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Pediatrics from an accredited program.
- Board certification Pediatrics from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Proven experience as a Registrar in Pediatrics or similar role, preferably in a hospital, clinical setting or telehealth setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in pediatric patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with pediatric patients, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and provide family-centered care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in Pediatrics.
