POSITION OVERVIEW
- Permanent, Full Time position (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO

- Salary Range: $68,874 - $73,065 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have personal experience with mental health challenges and want to support others on their journey to wellness? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team as a Peer Support Worker.
As a Peer Support Worker, you will provide invaluable support, empathy, and understanding to young individuals facing mental health issues. Your lived experience will be a source of inspiration and hope for those seeking guidance and encouragement. Collaborate with our team of professionals to create a nurturing and supportive environment for our youth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer peer support and mentorship to young individuals in their mental health recovery journey.
- Facilitate group sessions and activities that promote well-being and resilience.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of young people within the CAMHS setting.
- Collaborate closely under the direct supervision of a multidisciplinary team
