CAREER OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District Store Team Leader to join our PEI team, overseeing our stores in both Summerside and Charlottetown. The ideal candidate is driven by a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, has a genuine passion for people management and development, and brings a strong track record of growing store sales. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of retail store operations to protect and maximize sales results.
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans to facilitate KPI goal achievement.
  • Perform annual performance appraisals of all staff. Additionally, provide ongoing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and accountability for employees.
  • Support the recruiting, hiring, and orientation processes for assigned stores.
  • Equitably allocate time among assigned stores.
  • Create and foster a respectful and supportive environment for employees and clients.
  • Proactively seek and support ongoing learning opportunities for yourself and employees.
  • Work effectively as a team, use and learn from each other’s knowledge and support your co-workers.
  • Demonstrate our company culture and values.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES

  • High School diploma or GED certificate; secondary education preferred
  • Hair, Esthetic, or other industry license is a plus
  • 3+ years of customer service/retail sales experience
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Leadership qualities to inspire, motivate, and positively influence team members
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to shift priorities as required
  • Adaptable and capable of leading through change
  • Commitment to continuous learning, development, and team education
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve objectives and budgets
