PENETRATION TESTER

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Penetration Tester for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Romania. Our client is the world’s largest travel guidance platform, helping hundreds of millions each month become better travelers, from planning to booking to taking a trip. Travelers across the globe use the site and app to discover where to stay, what to do, and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. With over 887 million reviews and opinions of nearly 8 million businesses, travelers turn to customers to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, and reserve tables at delicious restaurants. They discover great places nearby as a travel guide company available in 43 markets and 22 languages. We are looking to hire a Cybersecurity Attack and Penetration Tester for the security team. In this role, you will evaluate the security posture of the applications and network assets.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in manual security testing.
• Experience implementing and operating security technologies and processes in a hybrid cloud environment, such as AWS or Azure, and customer-premise.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, i.e., Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Ethical Hacker Certification or similar skills.
• Deep knowledge of working with OWASP concepts for various solutions.
• Experience with security vulnerability and penetration tools with one or more of the following tools: Nessus, Burp Suite, Qualys, Tenable, PowerShell, Electra, Cydia Impactor, Wireshark, ADB, and Drozer.

Nice to have:

• Bug Bounty participation.
• Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, MSCE, CSSLP).

Responsibilities:

• Perform and/or coordinate manual Attack and Penetration (A&P) testing, utilizing and leveraging the latest technologies.
• Perform red team assessments.
• Respond to new security threats and help implement new requirements as needed.
• Work in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality of investigation information.
