JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for someone who is has experience of advising and communicating about pension and employee benefits to join us at the House of Lords. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance our overall employee experience, from supporting new starters joining the Civil Service Pension Scheme to advising colleagues on retirement options.
You’ll be joining our Employee Experience and Reward team as the Pension and Benefits Adviser in our HR office. In this exciting role you will work closely with colleagues, counterparts across Parliament and internal stakeholders to ensure our pension and benefits offering is compliant, attractive, and easy to understand.

This opportunity is hybrid with a mixture of working from home and on the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Parliamentary Estate.

YOU’LL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR –
- Providing expert support to employees on the Civil Service Pension Schemes, helping them to understand their entitlements and options.
- Providing training and guidance to HR Administrators and Advisers on pensions and benefits-related matters to ensure they can effectively support employees.
- Developing and delivering clear, informative communication to employees regarding pension and benefits updates, changes, and workshops, commissioning and working with external experts as needed.
- Coordinating with current and future pensions administrators for system integration, transition activities, and to resolve any administrative issues.
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, including pensions administrators and service providers, to manage relationships and resolve issues.
