Our functional area CFO (Chief Financial Officer) manages the economic the economic processes of our company. He is also responsible for legal issues and offers IT solutions for the entire Group.
Within the central Finance and Insurance division we - Corporate Treasury (CT) - are responsible for the Group’s cash management, market price risk management, pension asset management pension and the financing of the group.
In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €87,200/year and €105,900/year plus a variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

What we offer

  • You will be responsible for coordinating regular ALM (Asset Liability Management) studies and the definition and implementation of suitable investment strategies for the CTA (Contractual Trust Agreement) in Germany.
  • You will conduct tenders for asset managers, custodian banks and other service providers in the investment management value chain and evaluate them. This is accompanied by the negotiation of fees and services are negotiated with the external providers.
  • Support in the coordination of strategic measures with regard to the management of balance sheet and cash flow risks of pension obligations on a global level as well as the development of investment strategies for pension plans worldwide with external providers is part of your tasks.
  • The development and ongoing support of suitable instruments to create transparency and provide senior management with information management on the risks and investment success of investment managers is one of your activities.
  • You will be responsible for supporting colleagues in related areas (e.g. HR, Accounting) and financial employees in foreign foreign subsidiaries as a competence center in all questions concerning pension assets and support them with know-how.

What you bring with you

  • You have a university degree (Master) preferably in economics and at least 2 years of professional experience in asset management pensions (corporate, asset manager or consultant).
  • You have very good knowledge of financial markets, quantitative methods and products as well as economics and the impact on foreign exchange and interest rate markets as well as global asset classes.
  • You have strong analytical skills combined with a structured and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Working effectively in a team-oriented environment and the ability to build good working relationships are a matter of course for you.
  • You have the ability to interact and negotiate effectively at all levels with both internal and external parties.
  • You have a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, additional knowledge of Quantum treasury software is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English complete your profile.
