Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Following a recent internal move, an opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Officer to join a growing, fast paced, friendly Payroll team at TDL, based in central London.
THE SCOPE OF YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Playing an integral part in the delivery of quality Payroll administrative support across the group with a key focus on pensions.
- Part of a 5-person team providing advice and guidance to staff on all payroll related matters and be the key point of contact for all pension matters.
- Work in close partnership with the wider HR and Finance teams to ensure workflows and processes are efficient.
- The role will mainly involve general Pension administration of all 3 pension schemes, including the assessment of new joiners for auto-enrolment into the company Royal London Pension scheme, monthly reporting of NHS Pension scheme leavers to NHS pensions, the processing of NHS retirement applications, and end of year reporting to NHS pensions.
- Provide specialist information, interpretation and expert guidance to staff at all levels on all aspects of the NHS Pension scheme. This includes meeting with NHS pension staff to discuss their retirement options.
- Keep up to date with all changes to the NHS Pension Scheme, pension legislation, developments in pensions, and to be aware of the implications on all aspects of employee’s pensions.
