Description:

OVERVIEW

It’s a great time to join Screwfix. Thanks to the hard work of our team and record-breaking sales, we’re proud to be one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK. And we want to pass that growth onto you.
Do you enjoy a challenge? Are you curious about people and what motivates them at work? Would you like to work in a small team that thinks big?
As People Analytics Specialist you’ll be working with our HR leadership team to help them get the most out of our People data. That could be anything from keeping our monthly metrics up to date, to developing dashboards to make sure they have quick access to key information, to working out how to answer a complex query or resolve a problem using data. Working as part of the People Insight team you’ll be involved in helping Screwfix leadership understand how our colleagues feel about working at Screwfix, evolving our use of AI tools to understand data and feedback better, and developing our People data strategy to drive us towards more proactive use of the information we hold.
The People Insight team is small, but we love to think about big issues, work out what’s behind a problem and where the opportunities are for solving it. We strive to be proactive and help our HR teams support the business in finding, developing, supporting and retaining the best people to help Screwfix meet our ambitious goals.
We believe that a hybrid, flexible working approach offers you – and your colleagues – the best of both worlds. Face-to-face collaboration is an integral part of our warm, friendly culture, so you’ll work from our head office three days a week, working flexibly around our core working hours of 10am-3pm. Beyond that, how, when and where you work is up to you. With a subsidised canteen, free parking and a comfortable, relaxed environment, we’ve worked hard to build an office you’ll want to work in. We also know that, when it comes to school pick-ups and home deliveries, it’s nice to have the flexibility to do both.
