Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing person to take on the role of People and Culture Ambassador at SSi Canada. This position is accountable for recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee well-being. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the recruitment and management of people, and the stewardship of a strong corporate culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership experience with the desire and ability to lead a team.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent English language skills, both oral and written.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
Onboarding and Training:
- Oversee onboarding programs to integrate new employees seamlessly into the organization.
- Coordinate job-specific training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
Employee Engagement and Well-being:
- Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement and well-being, including wellness programs, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and foster a positive work environment.
- Implement and oversee performance management solutions to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and set goals for progression.
Office Support:
- Provide administrative support oversight and direction to ensure the office runs efficiently, and convivial interaction with visitors and employees.
