Responsibilities:

As a People and Culture Consultant (11 month extended leave cover), you will provide accurate and responsive advisory solutions across a wide spectrum of HR activities. You will collaborate closely with People Leaders and stakeholders to uphold our people strategy, enabling amazing employee experiences.

Reporting to the Senior People and Culture Consultant, the People and Culture Consultant will be doing the following:

  • Support the delivery of People & Culture projects and initiatives such as Talent Reviews, Diversity and Inclusion Surveys, Salary Reviews, and Performance Review cycles.
  • Act as a point of contact and provide expert advice on employment administration matters including contracts, pay arrangements, leave entitlements, and other employment conditions.
  • Coach and guide People Leaders and employees on P&C policies, procedures, and programs, fostering self-service and capability development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial frameworks, and the SBS Enterprise Agreement in collaboration with P&C stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts, grievances, and complaints in adherence to organisational policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support job benchmarking and classification decisions.
  • Facilitate training sessions for People Leaders and employees on onboarding, upskilling, and other developmental initiatives.
