Lycopodium Minerals Peru SAC is currently recruiting for a People and Culture / Finance Officer to join our growing team in San Isidro, Lima.
Reporting to the Principal Designer, this position will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities supporting both the Finance and People and Culture teams for Lycopodium Minerals Peru. The general duties of this position shall consist of administrative support and assistance with regards to monthly payroll, People and Culture policies review, recruitment and other related tasks.
The tasks you’ll perform
- Timely and accurate preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
- Timely and accurate payment of all payroll related statutory and federal taxes and deductions.
- Prepare and submit all year end payroll related reconciliations including but not limited to Payment summaries and payroll tax.
- Organize and manage the new starter experience (end to end) including but not limited to recruitment, pre-employment procedures and requirements, contracts administration, on-boarding procedures and documentation, compliance and inductions.
- Manage the off-boarding process to ensure compliance including but not limited to collection of company property, termination of employment in HRIS, compliance, etc.
- Assist Finance and People and Culture groups as required.
The expertise you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative / payroll role within related industries
- SAP payroll or similar payroll system.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
- Sound knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
- Understanding of provincial and federal statutory payroll charges and how they impact the company.
- Strong knowledge of statutory payroll compliances including but not limited to household allowance, leaves, CTS, additional statutory bonuses, pension funds and taxes.
- High level of attention to detail and conscientious work ethic.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Previous exposure to a payroll environment including the use of relevant software.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
