The People and Culture Generalist plays a key role in supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues, and will manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and hiring the best talent.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including documentation, correspondence, employee records management, HRIS maintenance, and reporting.
- Manage employee relations, including inquiries and general HR support, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Manage the performance management system to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Support employees and managers in setting clear performance goals and expectations.
- Support training and development initiatives to build employee skills and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations and company policies.
- Actively promote and contribute to a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Support initiatives that reinforce the company’s core values and enhance employee morale and job satisfaction.
- Develop and implement engagement programs, such as recognition and rewards programs, employee surveys, and team-building activities.
