DESCRIPTION:
About the Role
We are offering a flexible permanent part-time position for an experienced and proactive People and Culture Manager to be based in our Forrestfield WA office and to provide HR support to multiple locations throughout Australia.
This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to provide expert advise across a wide range of Human Resource, Industrial Relations and People and Culture matters.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs to support organisational goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
- Implement engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
- Address employee concerns and grievances, implementing resolutions, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Work closely with managers to assist in performance reviews, implement improvement plans, and provide ongoing support in employee development.
- Have demonstrated experience in the interpretation of the Fair Work Act, NES, and Awards.
- Maintain and oversee employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy with the help of Advanta’s HRIS - ELMO.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Prepare and analyse HR reports to assess employee trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage health and wellness programs to ensure the well-being of employees.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in human resources management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About You
- Tertiary education in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in a HR management role.
- Have a strong working knowledge and experience utilising HRIS
- High level of organisation, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, time and project management, and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a flexible and resourceful approach to effectively manage workload.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to make confident decisions.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with superior attention to detail.
- Highly motivated and can – do attitude.
- Willing to travel interstate ad hoc basis
