ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Human Resources or related Business Degree or Diploma.
- An understanding of different industrial instruments, including Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and Australian Legislation
- A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams within an HR environment.
- A demonstrated ability to foster a culture of inclusion, results-oriented within a people-centric environment.
- Strong leadership skills that inspire, motivate, and empower others to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on People and Culture Manager to lead our People and Culture Team on a parental leave 14-month contract. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy within a diverse and dynamic business environment.
This true generalist role requires a strategic mindset and a proactive approach, enabling you to support our people effectively in an ever-growing and changing environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and flexible approach will ensure the best outcomes for the business while supporting our employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction and leadership to the People and Culture Team, fostering a high-performing and results-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver the people strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure our people services are aligned with their strategic needs and operational priorities.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding current industrial instrument provisions, legislative matters, and change management processes relating to structural reforms.
- Provide considered guidance and support to deliver individual and broad employee relations outcomes including disciplinary matters and investigations.
- Oversee organisational development strategies within the organisation focusing on leadership, team building and the measurement of outcomes through the annual employee engagement survey.
- Oversee the identification and appropriate management of people and culture related business risks across all functional areas.
- Explore innovative and contemporary human resource and leadership strategies to meet workforce demands.
- When requested, represent SEE Group and divisions in discussions or negotiations with FWC, Unions or legal representation.
