Requirements for the role include: No previous experience of working in the NHS is required A demonstrable ability to manage and lead with integrity Confidence in managing challenging behaviours and coaching and leading other people professionals, employees and managers at a variety of levels in the organisation We have some exciting and challenging people matters here at the George Eliot Hospital Trust. Not only will you be joining a team with a revised focus and a passion for change; youll also be working with senior leaders and managers who recognise that the people agenda is transforming and needs your help to shape it. Working within the Directorates this role will interact with a diverse spectrum of employees, managers and leaders internal and at times external to George Eliot. Applicants will need to be capable of working at a strategic level in collaboration with resourcing, workforce, learning and development and OD specialists to provide a consistent and high quality service.
Successful applicants will be instrumental in developing and improving service delivery in People Directorate and we are depending on the successful candidate to role model great people practices. In this context you will also be an effective communicator / negotiators with the ability to inspire confidence and gain trust of others
