Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this role is to partner the Distribution Centre Manager and site management team; to support in developing the capability of their people; provide generalist HR support and give strategic direction in line with business objectives, projects & other site initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement & Retention
Build appropriate relationships across the site to drive a culture of feedback and continuous improvement to aid employee engagement
Support the site management team in building & maintaining strong relationships with employee representatives; including attending regular meetings, promoting collaboration and transparent two-way communication
Drive internal communications across the site ensuring key site and business messages are cascaded in the appropriate form; utilising annual communication plans; local notice boards, briefings and the Hub.
Work with the line managers to implement effective strategies that manage the sites People KPI’s including labour turnover and absence
