EY- Global Delivery Services (GDS) – People Consulting (PC) – Work Force Management (WFM) – Manager

The opportunity
We are looking for Managers with expertise in Workforce Management to join the GDS PC team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the GDS PC team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow payroll consulting and Workforce management services capability within the business, develop strong relations with global practices. Achieve metrics on productivity, utilization, head count growth and penetration
- Contribute to the firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways, including successfully delivering on project engagements, leading and facilitating client working sessions, provide expertise and leadership in knowledge area, support sales and business development pursuits and assist in framing and positioning extension and project expansion work at existing clients
- Focus on delivering client expectations while also identifying areas of opportunities for the client and engagement teams to further expand the relationship
- Serve different roles as per project scope and requirements such as Engagement Manager, Application Architect, Process & Best Practice Consultant and Application Consultant
- When performing role of Application Consultant, the Workforce Management Manager will be responsible for:
o Participating in full life cycle activities
o Ensure the product is designed to meet the business requirements
- Serve as Functional or Technical lead depending on project size and skill set
- Collaborate with Process Specialist during discovery workshops
- Advise project delivery team during Build and Test activities
- When performing the role of Process / Best Practice Consultant the Workforce Management Manager will be responsible for facilitating the end-state visioning sessions working under the guidance of the Application Specialist
- Ensure quality of delivery and all aspects of operational management.
- Manage engagement risk, project economics, manage escalations and ensure effective planning and budgeting
- Develop thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to build and enhance payroll offering within the practice
- Perform role of counsellor and coach, define and set goals, conduct performance reviews and ensure ongoing learning and development of the team

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 12 - 16 years of experience
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in Workforce management (Time management, attendance, scheduling, etc.) and Payroll consulting
- Experience of working in a consulting environment on global client projects in areas of time & attendance, work force management transformation and shared services advisory.
- Experience in team management; providing advice and guidance on client projects related with Workforce management processes and systems
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Demonstrated technical proficiencies in Work Force Management; take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex global payroll client challenges
- Led Work Force Management project work streams from planning through to implementation – managing project resources and budgets effectively
- Designed payroll delivery options (consolidation of multiple payrolls, vendor advisory, shared service centre development, use of technology to generate efficiencies), and payroll transition management
- Supported other regions in client pursuit activities in the payroll and WFM space by developing proposals and presentations
- Ability to review current processes to identify key metrics to evaluate operational performance compared to internal performance objectives and Payroll industry leading practices benchmarks
- Facilitate and support the client in movement of the payroll delivery to a 3rd party outsource provider - developing a strong governance model to drive the vendor performance and delivery of services
- Project management experience
- FPC, CPP or PMP certification
- Experience of working with a Big 4 consulting firm
