Description:
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team at Newcastle Anglican. You will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support to leaders within the assigned department regarding key people management processes and policies to uplift people and culture and employee relations. You will also provide specialised expertise and advise on specific people and culture strategies and issues.
This is a Full Time 12 month max-term contract.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure successful people and culture services are provided
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external parties including unions and other relevant external organisations
- Collaborate with and support other teams within the broader People & Culture team to build a strong service culture
- Keep abreast of employment related standards, legislation and practices relevant to HR, Community Services/ Aged Care and / or not for profit organisations
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive, organisational wide, HR programs based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
- Identify and act on opportunities to enhance the capability of managers, through coaching and guidance, to implement workforce initiatives, programs and plans that improve workforce management and business performance
- Work with Leaders to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans
- Effectively manage ER/IR processes in an efficient and fair manner
About you?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in relevant field or equivalent industry experience
- Proven organisational, administrative and time management skills, including strong attention to detail
- Effective self-management and prioritisation of workloads
- Demonstrated capacity to work flexibly and a willingness to work on different and multiple activities
- Sound knowledge of HR Related legislative and regulatory requirements and/or experience
