Description:

As a People and Culture Coordinator, you will assist the People and Culture Manager in creating a welcoming environment for all team members. You will help shape the workplace culture, promote our core values, and ensure that everyone feels valued and engaged. Together, we will ensure a smooth and successful opening, fostering a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • A happy people person with a background in HR/ Recruiting, People & Culture; hotel experience is an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Fluent in English and Czech, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, payroll regulations, and industry-specific guidelines.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and creative approach to your work.
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and take a proactive hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Department Setup: Assist the People and Culture Manager in establishing policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure smooth operations, in line with company standards and local labor laws.
  • Onboarding New Team Members: Support the onboarding process by assisting with new hire orientations and ensuring that all new team members feel welcomed and well-prepared to start their roles.
  • Prepare Job Offers and Contracts: Assist in preparing and issuing job offers and employment contracts to new hires, ensuring all documentation is clear, compliant, and aligned with company policies and local regulations.
  • Promote Heartfelt Service: Help to live and promote our values of heartfelt service, supporting every team member and creating a workplace where everyone feels appreciated.
  • Foster a Fun & Creative Work Environment: Assist in organizing team-building activities, events, and celebrations that make the workplace engaging, exciting, and enjoyable for all.
  • Ensure Compliance: Support the People and Culture Manager in maintaining compliance with labor laws and health and safety regulations, ensuring that all team members are informed and confident in their roles.
  • Assist with Team Member Relations: Help with conflict resolution and ensure that team member issues are handled in a respectful and positive manner.
  • Support Performance & Development: Assist in performance evaluations, career growth, and training programs that encourage personal and professional development.
  • Boost Team Engagement & Spirit: Help create initiatives that enhance team spirit and engagement, such as workshops and fun activities, to keep the team motivated and united.
  • Be Willing to Assist in All Areas: Understand that the opening process requires teamwork, and be ready to step in and assist wherever needed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Monitor Team Sentiment: Gather feedback and help the People and Culture Manager analyze team satisfaction, ensuring that everyone feels connected, motivated, and inspired.
