As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join us as a People & Culture Executive.
As a People & Culture Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the team members’ experience and fostering a culture of excellence within our hotel. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while also ensuring that our company values and culture are upheld at every level.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong Administration skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR & IT systems
- Strong understanding of HR principles & practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships,
- Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support for the Cluster People & Culture Manager
- To manage the administration of all team contracts and files, ensuring legislative compliance
- To manage the administration of all statutory training, ensuring compliance to all Health & Safety training as per Group policy and legal compliance
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process with the support of the Cluster People & Culture ManagerAdminister the onboarding of new team members
- Input, maintain and validate personnel records on the hotel integrated HR & Payroll systems ensuring payroll submission is accurate
- Monitor overall HR systems, tactics and procedures across the organization, ensuring the HRIS is maintained accurately
- To ensure employee absenteeism is monitored and reported on a weekly basis and any issues dealt with at the earliest opportunity
- Administer and report on the hotel probation and performance appraisal system
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Champion our company values and culture initiatives, organising team events, activities, and recognition programs to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Monitor colleague’s satisfaction and engagement levels and implement strategies to enhance morale and retention.
- Assess training needs with Cluster People & Culture manager Manager to apply and monitor training programs
- Deliver Induction/ training programs relevant to the needs of the business
- Ensure HRM compliance and communicate any issues or non-compliances to the Cluster People & Culture Manager
- Support managers in the application of HR policies and practices, provide advice and guidance on HR issues.
- To assist with HR & Training departmental budget and manage inventory of HR resources incl. uniforms, lockers, workbooks etc
- Ensure all parts of the People & Culture department are compliant for half yearly hotel audit
